Lead Doula: Madison Lawrence
Madison is an amazing mother of three beautiful little boys, and a proud Army spouse. She grew up on a farm in a tiny town by the name of Ramona, Oklahoma – population 545! Madison met her handsome husband in 2012 when they were both in Germany. As a newly wedded spouse, she spent some time volunteering as Co-FRG Leader in Grafenwoehr, Germany. She is completely overjoyed when she knows that the work she does is both supporting and educating others. In 2015, the Army chose Cuba for a new duty station – so off they went. After the birth of Madison’s 3rd son, she knew immediately that she wanted to pursue a lifelong career as a doula. In November of 2017 she flew all the way to San Diego, CA to train with ProDoula so she could continue to grow as a person and as a doula. Madison loves to be able to support those pregnant, and their families through all of lifes ups and downs. In her downtime, she enjoys baking, and DIY’ing. Madison also spends every minute she has away from work with her boys – husband included! Family means everything to her. Madison is a trained bereavement doula and can be reached by email or phone to provide support.
Doula: Elichia Rountree
Elichia is a gentle and fun-loving mother of two sweet kids and proud Army spouse. She and her husband are from Florida and were married five years before joining the military and moving to Germany. Elichia has extensive experience and knowledge surrounding infertility and adoption and finds connection and strength through sharing with others. She received training through DONA International in 2016 as a birth and postpartum doula and quickly discovered that becoming a doula was the most rewarding career path she could have imagined. Elichia has been supporting women and families for many years and finds supporting and empowering them to be her greatest passion. In October 2016, she completed an extensive course to become a Lactation Counselor through Healthy Children Project, Inc. and loves witnessing the inner strength women find as they work through any feeding struggles they may experience. Elichia enjoys horseback riding, crafting, and spending precious time with her family outdoors.
