Doula: Aida Algarin
Aida is a proud Army Veteran spouse and mother of four in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Aida earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant University in her home state of Rhode Island. In 2011, she relocated to North Carolina and currently leads one of the largest breastfeeding support groups in the Fayetteville / Ft. Bragg area. Her passion in supporting expecting and new mothers naturally led her to becoming a doula. Aida completed Labor and Postpartum and Infant Care training with ProDoula. Aida is experienced in providing unbiased support in baby-wearing, cloth diapering, breastfeeding, and bottle-feeding. Aida is also fluent in Spanish. firstname.lastname@example.org
Doula: Nina Wells
Nathenia is a proud Army veteran, military spouse and mother of four. She is a Florida native but has resided in the Fort Bragg community since 2009. She was previously a Respiratory Therapist in the U.S. Army assigned to Womack Army Medical Center. Nathenia also served on the Unit Practice Council at Womack Army Medical Center as a representative to gather information from unit staff members, patients and family to identify opportunities for improvement. She is currently a senior at Fayetteville State University majoring in Sociology with a minor in Social Work. Nathenia has a passion for educating and supporting others which inspired her to become certified by the NC Department of Health and Human Services as a Reproductive Health & Safety Educator as well as ProDoula trained in labor and postpartum support. Since 2017, she has been a volunteer with the American Red Cross in the Services to Armed Forces division. Nathenia is a 4th generation Doula and is passionate about being a part of the family’s support system. She enjoys gardening, food, art and traveling with her family. email@example.com
