As a consumer I tend to overthink the things I may need. There are so many cool and potentially useful gadgets out there, but in the first coming home day – we definitely overestimate the amount of use those things might actually be.
But, when packing for a baby’s hospital bag and having three children of my own, this one is very simple!
A total of three things are necessary!
⁃ okay don’t try to put this in a bag, haha! But really, it’s the one thing that you absolutely 100% have to have in order to come home with your new baby.
- Coming home outfit
⁃ Put your baby in something simple! Comfy onesie and sweats or feety-pajamas! Don’t forget socks and a hat to cover the little ears 🙂
⁃ I think every bag needs a muslin blanket. These things are quick to pick up spit up, and can be so warm! A MUST in every baby bag if you ask me.
It’s so easy to over think what we need to pack, even though we really don’t need a plethora of things.
If you have anything to add, that YOU feel is an essential in your minimalist bag, I want to hear it! Be sure to also check out the must have labor/birth bag for minimalists post!
